Deployed

Aaron is getting deployed to Africa...we found out 2 days ago, and he leave in 13 days :(
He will be gone until April 2012..:sigh:: I know I am not the first army wife and family to have to see a loved one leave, but its so hard. And yes, we have been apart so many times, while pregnant none-the-less (thank God I am not pregnant this time), and we are here in CO, so it shouldn't be any big deal, but it still hurts.

The good part? Aaron's pay nearly doubles...
I could live without it.

Lots to do before he leaves--family pictures tomorrow...idk why I picked up Sat/Sun night and next Saturday night...stupid. I was kind of afraid if I kept saying "no" then they would stop asking me, and i want to stay busy while Aaron is away...

Speaking of nursing, I went down to Evan Army Community Hospital on the other side of town, on post, to see if I could speak to the hiring manager for L&D and Mother/baby..well I got super lucky and she happened to be right there at the security desk, so I was able to hand her my resume and cover letter and speak with her and let her put a face to my papers. She said she would definitely consider me, and that they wouldn't be hiring until probably January, but to definitely contact her directly (she gave me her e-mail) and we would talk then! So, its actually better, because then I am off for the holidays (even though Aaron will be gone).

I don't even know what to think...so much anxiety related to all this....

So, any way, gotta make this Christmas extra special.

Oh man, 13 days :'(

So glad Aaron was here for my birthday, which he made so special, with a limo and friends and awesome Irish bar food and too many drinks...oy! I love my husband! <3
